Do you see these benchmarks in real world while using the device…! Lol… Hell no… So fast… Not fast… They are all same… What matters is that how much they innovate each year… And gives you best experience…

Samsung needs a different os

I hate Samsung but iPhone X is not fast. Because iPhone X heat up and slow down easily. Benchmark scores is totally meaningless in this case.

1:10 s9+ seems to have most nits at 630…. typo?

Hahahah fucking teory, but in practise, note will destroy this iGarbage

Of course the Note 9 is faster. Those benchmarks don't mean jack…lol. as long as I have used my phones I never used a benchmark. I do open apps regularly though, and play games and S9 and Note 8 open apps faster and blew the iPhone x out of the water when opening multiple apps the 2nd time due to the aweful reloading of the iPhone x. Please watch the speed test cuase again these benchmarks are useless numbers. I want to be able to have 15 apps open and go back to them without reloading which the extra ram beats the iPhone everytime.

Benchmarks don’t matter, I have iPhone

I Love Apple because of Jailbreak

Actually the reason why IOS outperforms Android in these specific benchmarks in general is because IOS does not truly run as many apps at once like Android does routinely. Those results indicate IOS running Only the benchmark and nothing much else. That's why IOS can achieve such high scores with less hardware. This is why multi tasking is limited on an IOS device because the multiple processes would overtax the hardware. 95% of IOS apps run one at a time. Switch to another app and it retrieves the data and runs that other app. Android runs multiple apps at once and this is the reason for the need for more ram. Have you ever responded to an IOS alert in the notification bubble? No. because there is no true multi tasking. IOS will never scale up to a "DEX" like peripheral to mimic a desktop because of this. IOS will only ever allow you to mirror the screen. Google pixel is trying to copy the IOS "slight of hand" trick because most consumers don't multi task. This is why the Pixel 3XL will only come with 4 gigs of ram. It will not be geared towards the same audience as the NOTE 9

don't compare apple iphone with cheap and over saturated display phone samsung( like tube light display), suck phone samsung and it's display, i don't like their display, they make over saturated display so pixel didn't visible but genius can see it lol samsung, but retina is retina and it is best. so samsung lol and apple is the best.

Opening an app a second faster doesnt make a phone better (even though the Note 8 beat the iPhone X in speed tests). What makes a phone better is what the phone offers you and the Note 9 offers you far more than any iPhone can give you. More bang for your buck. iPhones are just boring and the sad thing about it is, apple is a trillion dollar company and they cant even give you high end LTEs. You will drop a call far faster than any Samsung and their phones doesnt pull in internet data as good as any Samsung.

I'm not overly loyal to either company, but I have to objectively ask… Claims based on one benchmark? Seriously? And real world tests are the only real evidence.

After Note 7, I don’t trust Samsung anymore. my main phone is the iphoneX and for work I have an android, but is the Huawei P20.

Who was here before the title changed from “The IPhone X is still faster than the new Galaxy Note 9” ? Xd

Reply

The iPhone X has the strength but has NO freedom and options The Note 9 is the Best

Reply

This is the reason why I use iPhone

Reply

And the note 8 still out performs the iPhone X. But who gives a damn??? iOS is the smoothest on certain apps but it's also the dullest and limited on lots like mirroring your phone to damn near any TV. Downloading movies through torrents etc. If you want a phone for simplicity get an iPhone if you want a phone for everything else get a note it's as simple as that.

Holding talks when action is needed, Samsung.

The Geekbench scores aren't graded equivalently. It uses Vulkan graphics for iOS and OpenGL for Android. Since Android is incompatible with Vulkan, these tests are inherently flawed. Geekbench is the worst possible choice for mobile performance testing. For desktops and laptops, it's only marginally better. The overall difference in usability will be nearly indistinguishable for the average user. I'm neither an Apple nor an Android fanboy, so I'm making this statement as objectively and neutrally as possible. If you like iOS, get an iPhone. If you like Android, get one of those phones. Don't be swayed by superficial "benchmarks". Get what you like and you'll be happy 😊

Faster but not smarter and iPhone is less functional than Samsung phones

Samsung makes the oled panels for Apple, why is it so dim compared to their own phone screens?

COME ON BENCHMARK NEVER PROVES THE REAL WORLD USAGE PERFORMANCE OF PHONES

Reply

iPhone X is crushing note 9.

Reply

Idiot, these numbers don't show the actual speed of the phone. Do an actual speed test and see what happens . Turn off the animations on the Samsung and do the tests on the apps. Nice click bait title. How is one plus lower if almost every single test video on Youtube show it beating the Iphone in the actual speed test when it comes to apps and opening stuff?

Reply

Definitely not faster in real world use. Many speed tests have shown that. iPhones used to destroy everything in speed tests, yet with the iPhone X with it’s super amazing processor is slower than many android phones now in real world use, and really struggles to keep apps open. Only been using iPhones and have a X but that’s just the truth

Reply

This is a prime example how people are ignorant to technology. Geek bench has nothing to do with real world experience, performance, and usage. The Note 8 and the Note 9 both can reach speeds up to 1.4 Gbps. The iPhone can’t. Plus the Note 8 and Note 9 both have 2x more RAM and 2 more processor cores than the iPhone X. I’m guessing geekbench didn’t tell you that either. So how is the iPhone faster if the iPhone can’t even reach half the speed of the Note 9??? Don’t worry, I’ll wait

Samsung doesn't realize it is competing with OTHER android phone makers, because apple users are NOT gonna switch. And such shameless ad doesnt convince one plus users to switch either. It is only fueling toxic samsung fans. What a great corporate culture samsung has.

Reply

iPhones are not better. iOS is better. Android is worse. Samsung makes really good phones, but they run on Android.
Even when two phones with the same specs except one runs iOS and the other runs Android, the one running iOS will always win.

Reply

That’s believable… you can’t really do anything on an iPhone so that’s why performance is better cuz it’s limited. Android OS is more open. It’s like a computer. iPhone is still considered a phone.

So samsung makes a phone that is on par with apples 1 year old phone? Theyre late.

The Galaxy S10 will be faster and better than all of Apple's iPhones. But honestly, a jailbroken iPhone beats all samsung devices for sure!
